"“Puppy love” was one of the first paintings developed specifically for Eden Fine Art [Gallery]. The painting is based on a picture from my collection of black and white photos. The subjects, in the painting, look NOTHING like the pup and girl in my reference material. The duo in my photo is grainy and tiny (about ¾” x ½”) [ca.19mmx13mm] but that’s part of the fun in painting for me, part of the challenge. I love being able to take one image and transform it into something else –something more vibrant, something more people can connect with."
